WHAT'S IN A DREAM?
December 14, 2016
A dream blossoms when our subconscious emerges from our astral form (while we're sleeping) and with the help of the universe, leaves a mark when we wake up. We all have that one dream that bothers the life out of us. That one dream that we can't put a finger on it or even a recurring confusing dream. For the sake of ease, I made this Dream Analysis Spread to hopefully understand what our subconscious and the universe was trying to tell us.
*Fellow Tarot readers, feel free to use this spread but don't forget to tag me so that I can stalk you too :)
And here's an example of a dream that has been bothering me for awhile.
I met up with my supposed soulmate and he handed me a piece of paper with a child's scribbles on it. He then said, 'Go buy these.' The note was apparently a list of books with on it along with her name. it is implied that I should buy the said books for our 'supposed' daughter - MADIE. 'Madie - from madness' was the dream's recurring theme and I woke up remembering those with my supposed soulmate's smirk lingering in the distance.
THE REALITY: My supposed soulmate became non-existent - (as I do not believe in soulmates anymore). Thus, the 'supposed' word being used several times.
Let's do a Dream Analysis Spread now:
1. WHY I HAD THE DREAM - PAGE OF SWORDS (Reversed)
Ha! A sense of disappointment is (indeed) lurking and setting around me that have caused me great annoyance and discomfort resulting to hurt and betrayal which obviously emerged in this dream.
2. WHAT PROVOKED THE DREAM - THE TOWER
An inevitable destruction - a parting that shook the very foundation of my current sense of security and trust that now made me question everything that had happen for the past 18 months.
3. THE UNCONSCIOUS ISSUE - VII Of Swords
Deception, trickery, secrecy and betrayal - still waiting for the truth to be revealed and confirmed here.
4. THE LESSON - THE DEVIL
The Devil could mean a lot in this spread but it mostly symbolizes the situation we both put ourselves into. I may have taken the 18-month situation seriously while the other did not. I may have been used as a scapegoat by the 'other' in order to escape from the reality he had started (that he recklessly chained himself into) and was looking for a way out of it.
5. THE MESSAGE - II Of WANDS
Plan the future carefully. Think long term. Assess every possible scenarios or situations before committing to something that would shape your future supposedly. There's always that one stupid mistake that could change everything. One day, you'll look back and hopefully you won't regret that decision.
6. OUTCOME - V Of SWORDS (Reversed)
My internal war has made me exhausted, torn and resentful. It is implied that while I have already managed to forget everything (still grateful I made that ritual a few days ago) I may have yet to learn to forgive - otherwise history might repeat itself or that I could be hurt again.
That concludes the Dream Analysis spread I did for myself. Honestly, that was enlightening - for the cards to actually say it to my face. Dare I say, 'good bye Madie'? Good bye to the madness that could have been beautiful and true? Good bye to the innocent scribbles I saw in my dream? What say you?
