I've been telling people (fellow Filipinos and Filipinas who are also into Tarot reading and cartomancy) that I tend to acquire / buy my decks overseas (online) primarily because we have very limited resources here. It could be quite frustrating actually due to the fact that I have to wait 1-3 gruelling months to get it shipped - not to mention the *le sigh* shipping fees and customs taxes that I have to go through. *le sigh again* Here is a list of (some not yet released and some I'm working on to have a budget - lol) decks that I'm excited to get my hands on hopefully this 2020. 1. Dark Wood Tarot by Sasha Graham - Abigail Larson is such an amazing artist that I've been actually admiring / stalking her artwork on Pinterest and Instagram for a long time. So stoked that Sasha Graham collaborated with her!
Release Date: June 2020
2. A Jane Austen Tarot Deck by Jacqui Oakley - I've been looking for a Jane Austen Tarot deck for years! Last one was a bummer. Unfortunately (at the time of this writing), there is still no card images for this but the Color Me Jane book by Jacqui Oakley has awesome imagery on it so I'm thinking they're similar? By the way, the deck only has 53 cards so you might want to keep that in mind.Â
Release Date: March 10, 2020
3. White Numen Tarot - Liminal 11 (a publishing company) just announced last November 4, 2019 that they will be collaborating with another great artist Alba Ballesta Gonzales who will be creating this otherworldly Tarot deck. By the way, numen means sacred animals which is why there will be animals interwoven in the cards.
4. Star Seeker Tarot - The Star Seeker Tarot is a 79 card deck, created to guide you on your journey towards connection, healing, intuition. The deck creator, The Van Mystic, described this deck as a 'whimsical interpretation of the classic 78 card tarot deck, with a special bonus card.' - she got me at 'whimsical' lol.
I hope you enjoyed my (growing) wishlist.
