REVIEW: DREAMING WAY LENORMAND
Updated: Oct 1, 2020
Unboxing, First Impressions & Review
I have been reading and studying a lot about Lenormand but I admit it took me awhile to buy my first deck. Why? That's only because I'm very picky with my decks (aesthetically speaking) and like my Tarot decks, the originals do not connect with me. The Dreaming Way Lenormand was something that took a lot of decision-making as far as my funds are concerned - then one day, what the heck, I finally clicked the button and almost a month later here they are. Before I continue with my review, here's an unboxing video.
Now that you've seen what's in the box and the shuffle test, here are my first impressions.
WHAT I LIKE:
1. THE ARTWORK.
Amazing artwork - like having a mini gallery in my pocket. The artist, Kwon Shina, did an awesome job interpreting the cards resulting to this masterpiece. Plus, like my blog - it is WHIMSICAL!
2. CARD STOCK
The cards are a bit small for my hands but the paper is smooth and laminated.
I bought the deck at Fully Booked (local bookstore).
Went to the branch to claim it.
5. THE INTERVIEW.
INTRODUCE YOURSELF: Man
I was surprised that this deck introduced itself as a Man (because obviously it looks more of woman - aesthetically speaking). Then again, I am quite pleased that it would be a logical deck rather than an emotional one.
WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS? Heart
For a deck that introduces itself as a man then now the Heart as its strength is a bit bizarre. I'm excited to do readings that would clear matters of the heart from a logical mind.
WHAT ARE YOUR LIMITATIONS? Stars
The deck is limited when you are asking or seeking answers with emotional questions such as wishing or hoping. Again, the deck emits more of rational or logical - masculine energy.
WHAT CAN I LEARN FROM YOU? Clouds
The clouds represents a need to be honest and to wake up, to pay attention and to focus.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONNECT WITH YOU? Sun
The Sun (like in Tarot) is a positive card. This deck's very useful when you wish to achieve something, increase your confidence and realize your full potential.
OUTCOME OF OUR RELATIONSHIP: Coffin
With every ending there is always beginnings. This card indicates change being inevitable and that we learn to evolve when we embrace change.
WHAT I HATE:
That concludes my review. How was your first Lenormand deck?
