REVIEW: THE FOUNTAIN TAROT

September 9, 2017

I got this one as a gift from my soul sis, Moonlit Faye!

WHAT I LIKE:

1. THE ARTWORK.

If you love modern new age art then this is the deck for you! It's a combination of abstract, surrealism and futurism.

They added a new card Major Arcana card - The Fountain.

2. CARD STOCK

The cards are printed in matte - you have to be careful though as the cards stick together.

Look at that silver edges! And that magnetic flip box.

3. GUIDEBOOK

The LWB is beautifully written and packed with meaningful information. I don't usually read the guidebooks but this one's worth it.

4. AVAILABILITY

You can buy the deck here.

5. SHIPPING

Took almost a month before I was able to get it plus a local tax of ₱112.00.

6. THE INTERVIEW.

INTRODUCE YOURSELF: Seven of Wands

The Fountain Tarot deck's energy is bit competitive as it wants to stay on top. It wants to maintain its position and authority and will continually prove itself worthy to be my go-to deck.

WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS? Ace of Coins

The deck's strength lies in its ability to come up with new financial opportunities. It will guide me with dealing with money matters and manifesting abundance.

WHAT ARE YOUR LIMITATIONS? Queen of Coins

The Fountain Tarot deck doesn't come out motherly maybe because the energy this one emits is more of a masculine one.

WHAT CAN I LEARN FROM YOU? Page of Swords

Yep, it gives off that 'go for it' vibe. It will teach me to plan well and execute these plans accordingly.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONNECT WITH YOU? The Fountain

Wow. The Fountain card (as per the guidebook) is about oneness and a moment of cosmic clarity. It invites me to serve, master less and just be. Surrender.

OUTCOME OF OUR RELATIONSHIP: Ace of Wands

The Fountain Tarot is an action based kind of deck. So if I really want to connect with the deck I really should just go for it. It emits that fiery energy of inspiration and power.

WHAT I HATE:

I don't seem to get a good photo of the cards. Maybe because of the faded design? The hard to define type of artwork?

SCORE: ★★

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Ok to be honest, I feel so bad that I do not resonate well with modern new age art and this one really has that energy. This one's not just a Tarot deck, it's something new, something hard to describe. I can't really grasp the energy of this deck and it really does take me awhile to get what each cards' deeper meanings are. I do know however that it calls to me every time I need to deal with something otherworldly.

That concludes my review of The Fountain Tarot.
